Production Lessons
Composition
Each genre has its own unique elements that define it. Whether it be the rolling bass lines of tech-house, or the off beat drums of lo-fi hip hop, each have their own key features that make them tick and make them great.
Sampling
Want to chop drums like your favourite rap producers? Want to incorporate that touching gospal vocal into your classic house track? Sampling is one of the best ways to light the fire of inspiration and when done correctly, can even bypass those pesky copyright laws.

Mixing and Mastering
This can often be the most dreaded part of the music making process, but it needn’t be. Mixing is surprisingly easily once you know what you are trying to achieve, and can often end up being one of the most enjoyable parts of the song making process.
What To Expect
Location
Lessons are held at my address in Banool Avenue, Kew, Victoria 3101. There is plenty of street parking available and public transport options. Lessons are also available in the comfort of your own home, either in person or online!
Equipment
I teach on the latest CDJ’s, DJM mixer, Technic’s turntables and Traktor S4 controller. For In-home lessons, I can happily supply the DJ equipment and speakers for us to use.
Simplicity
Once you make a booking, I will get in contact with you to confirm the session. Once it’s locked it I will let you know what you will need to bring and any resources that can help you prepare for the lesson.
